The Schafmeister Lab in the Department of Chemistry at Temple University (www.schafmeistergroup.com) is looking for an exceptional postdoctoral researcher to work on free energy methods for high throughput drug discovery methods. This position is a tremendous training opportunity to engage in projects related to medical chemistry and macromolecular design in the realm of synthetic organic molecules.

The ideal candidate is expected to have a strong publication record in molecular simulation and computational chemistry. Relative programming skills (e.g., general scripting, knowledge of Linux environment, as well as experience with python/c++) are required. Knowledge and interaction with experimental methods as well as direct knowledge of free energy perturbation methods and molecular library design is preferred but not required.

Salary and benefits will be based on experience according to NIH standards.
